TheMall will use a know-your-client (KYC) protocol to limit access to age-limited floors. Permissible age-restricted content includes the sale of cannabis and alcohol, gambling, and dating. Pornography is prohibited. The sale of weapons of any kind is also prohibited.

TheMall is built on a solid cryptographic foundation to enable web3 transactions. Currently Venly is the standard wallet, and MetaMask will also be accepted. We are also using the BambuMeta wallet for certain activations. Guests can use BitPay allowing any of 95 wallets (15 different cryptocurrencies) to pay for virtual or physical goods in TheMall.

TheMall will be launching its own utility token in 2023 called the $VRSE token. The $VRSE token will be used for staking purposes and as part of TheMall’s loyalty program. $VRSE tokens will be given out as rewards for community engagement, such as visiting different locations in TheMall, inviting others to join TheMall, and playing games. They can be used to gain access to events, provide staking for games and experiences, or create assets, worlds and experiences that can be purchased on the marketplace.
